The Face

Inspired by a classic Zen tale,  'The Face' is the short story of a neighborhood of kids who play in the yard of an old artist who weaves elaborate and insightful tales for them. The dying artist decides to pass on his storytelling mask, the ‘Face’. He sets up a contest to decide who will receive it. As one child in particular appears to be failing miserably, it soon becomes apparent that the contest is not a contest - but a test of character.

This 23 minutes narrative piece also incorporates the use of computer graphic character animation by some of the most accomplished visual effects talents from Industrial, Light & Magic.
